Riyadh Metro
The Metro Project is the backbone of the public transport network in Riyadh, capable of transporting 1.2 million passengers a day in its first phase, and potentially 3.6 million passengers at a full-scale realization.
With six lines at a total length of 176 km and 84 metro stations, the metro network will cover most of the densely populated areas, public facilities, and the educational, commercial, and medical institutions. The network will be connected to King Khalid International Airport and King Abdullah Financial District, the main universities, downtown Riyadh, and the public transport center.

Flow Consortium Operations & Maintenance
FLOW Consortium is an alliance of 3 multi-national companies comprising HITACHI RAIL STS, FERROVIE DELLO STATO ITALIANE (FS) and ALSTOM. Each partner of the consortium Partners possesses several years of railway operation and maintenance expertise with an extensive global railway management project portfolio. The multi-national companies formed the FLOW Consortium to provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for Lines 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Riyadh Metro Project. Line 3
Orange Line
The line runs through a beating and busy part of the city. Connecting Riyadh from East to West through 22 Stations to fulfill the passenger needs along that area. The line runs through multiple vibrant neighborhoods and points of interest that include, shopping malls, parks, schools, restaurants, Wadi Hanifa and fitness centers. Line 3 runs From East to West along Al-Madinah Al-Munawara and Prince Saad Bin Abdulrahman Al-Awal Roads, starting at the West near Jeddah Expressway and ending to the East near the National Guard Camp at Khashm El-Aan. The line has two interchange stations, with Line 1 at Downtown station and Line 6 at Al-Naseem station. Interchange stations is where passengers can transfer to other lines in order to ultimately reach their final destination.
The planning, design and construction of Line 3 was a complex project. Running through an existing heavily populated area with multiple main streets and intersections, Line 3 spans a total track length of 41.2 Kms, consists of 2 depots, one located in the East-end of the line and one in the West-end of the line. The depots are where the trains are stationed when they are not in service and when they need maintenance. The line consists of 27.3 Kms running on elevated viaducts (bridges), 10.2 Kms running underground in tunnels and 3.5 Kms running at grade (street level). The line has two iconic stations, Western Station and Downtown Station. Iconic stations have a special design inspired by Saudi Arabia’s art and culture.

Line 4
YELLOW LINE
The line has a total track length of 29.45 Kms of which 16.7 Kms running on elevated viaducts (bridges), 5.6 Kms running underground in tunnels and 7.1 Kms running at grade (street level). The line has one depot which is shared with line 6. The depots are where the trains are stationed when they are not in service and when they need maintenance.
The line has two interchange stations, with the Purple Line 6 at the SABIC Station and the Blue Line 1 at King Abdullah Financial District Station. Interchange stations are where passengers can transfer to other lines to ultimately reach their final destination.
The line starts in the North-Eastern part of Riyadh, in King Khalid International Airport. The line has a total of stations and has multiple stations in the airport and its terminals to transport arriving and departing passengers.
The line travels from North to South along King Salman Road and Airport Road, passing by multiple points of interest, including Governmental Authority Complex (GAC), stadiums, convention centers, Princess Nora University, Imam Saudi University, and Roshen. The line then takes a turn and travels along Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Road from East to West, until reaching its end station in King Abdullah Financial District. Line 5
Green Line
The line starts and runs from the North-Western area of Riyadh towards the South-Western area of Riyadh. The line has 12 deep underground stations and travels from North to South along King Abdulaziz Road until reaching its final destination on King Saud Road, passing by multiple points of interest including, Ministry of Education, multiple schools and training institutes, Armed Forces Officers club, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Finance and the National Museum. The line has a total track length of 13.3 Kms of which 10.8 Kms runs underground in tunnels and 2.5 Kms runs in an underpass. The line has one depot. The depots are where the trains are stationed when they are not in service and when they need maintenance.

Purple LINE
The line has a total track length of 21.04 Kms of which 16.3 Kms running on elevated viaducts (bridges), 3.24 Kms running underground in tunnels and 1.4 Kms running at grade (street level). The line has three Interchange stations, with the Blue line 1 and Yellow Line 4 at King Abdullah Financial District Station, with the Red Line 2 at Al-Hamra Station and with the Orange Line 3 at Al-Naseem Station.
The line starts and runs from the North-Eastern area of Riyadh towards the South-Eastern area of Riyadh. The line starts in King Abdullah Financial District and travels East along Prince Mohammad bin Salman Road. It then travels South until reaching its final destination AbdulRahman bin Ouf Road.
